What are Vocational Courses?

These are our specialist courses. They are suitable for all students, whether they plan to go straight into employment with training or onto further education at college or university, and are designed to develop some of the skills needed in future employment. They combine practical ways of working with completion of a portfolio of work and one or two external exams. Students will have the opportunity to visit relevant work placements during the course.

Applied and Technical courses suit students who:

· Like to work in a more practical way

· Like to work to short term targets

· Like to build up a portfolio of work over a period of time, improving it as they go along.
