Faculty of Applied Learning

The Faculty of Applied Learning delivers a number of applied and technical courses as well as supporting the personal development and wellbeing of students at Hemsworth. It fully supports the academy’s overall aim of raising achievement for all whilst developing successful learners, responsible citizens and confident individuals. We also feel it is important to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum which meets the needs of all our learners and helps them to progress at 16 and 18 in to a wide range of studies, jobs and opportunities. We also support other faculties in the delivery of BTECs in Construction, Sport, Hospitality, Business and Performing Arts.
