'Managing a Business Event' Unit turns into a Halloween Disco

1st November 2017

A group of Year 13 BITE students hosted a successful event for Key Stage 3 students. The Year 13 BTEC Business students were required to work as a group to host an event as part of their Managing a Business Event unit. After much deliberation the group decided to plan a Hallowe’en Disco for Year 7 students. With music, dancing and snacks in plentiful supply everyone had a scream!

The group even managed to make a small profit of £63.54, and despite being offered the opportunity to ‘split their winnings’ between them, decided to donate the profit to the Cats Protection charity, formerly the Cats Protection League. The students involved were: Harry F, Alex L, Ollie R, Rhys R, Connor H and Oliver W.
